Vivo T3 Pro 5G Design and Build
The Vivo T3 Pro 5G stands out with its premium design. It features a leather back panel with golden accents along the edges, giving it a high-end feel despite its affordable price. I tested the Sandstone Orange variant, which is bright and eye-catching. For those who prefer something more subtle, the Emerald Green variant is also available.
Even though it houses a large 5,500mAh battery, the phone remains sleek, measuring just 7.49mm in thickness, which Vivo claims makes it the “slimmest curved phone in the segment.” It’s worth noting that the Moto G85, priced at ₹17,999, also features a similarly slim 7.5mm body with a curved display.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G Display: Large and Smooth
The 6.77-inch AMOLED curved display is one of the standout features of the Vivo T3 Pro 5G. With a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, the display offers vibrant colors and a smooth viewing experience, whether you’re watching videos or gaming.
However, as with most curved displays, the issue of accidental touches persists. While holding the phone, especially in landscape mode, I accidentally triggered unintended actions like pausing videos or closing apps. This is a common drawback of curved displays, but it’s not unique to the Vivo T3 Pro.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G Performance: Powered by Snapdragon
At the heart of the Vivo T3 Pro 5G is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. It is available in two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. Running on Funtouch OS based on Android 14, the phone offers a seamless user experience. The OS comes with a sidebar feature that allows quick access to apps, making multitasking easier.

During my usage, the Vivo T3 Pro handled everything smoothly, whether I was scrolling through social media, watching videos, or playing games like Asphalt 8 and Call of Duty. The phone didn’t show any signs of lag and even has a gaming mode that enhances performance by displaying real-time stats for CPU and GPU usage, as well as battery life.
One of the standout multitasking features is the split-screen mode, which allows you to work on two apps simultaneously. You can activate it by swiping with three fingers—a handy tool for productivity.
Despite heavy usage, the phone does not heat up significantly, which is a testament to its thermal management.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G Battery Life: Long-lasting with Fast Charging
With a 5,500mAh battery, the Vivo T3 Pro 5G offers impressive battery life. The phone supports 80W fast charging, which can charge the device from 0% to 10% in just 30 minutes. While the phone warms up a bit during charging, it cools down quickly.

In my tests, the battery performed excellently. After an hour of gaming, the battery only dropped by 5%, and watching a 30-minute YouTube video reduced it by the same amount. Overall, you can expect the battery to last a full day of heavy use without needing a recharge.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G Camera: Great for Day and Night Photography
The Vivo T3 Pro 5G features a 50MP primary Sony camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera on the back. The camera delivers vibrant and detailed photos in daylight, with true-to-life colors. The night mode also performs well, capturing clear and sharp images in low-light conditions.
The Pro mode allows for more control over settings, and I found it to be particularly useful for capturing detailed textures. Most of the time, I preferred using this mode for photography.
While the back camera is impressive, the 16MP front camera doesn’t perform as well. Though it’s fine for casual selfies and video calls, there’s a noticeable gap in quality between the front and rear cameras.

Should You Buy the Vivo T3 Pro 5G?
If you’re looking for a smartphone under ₹25,000, the Vivo T3 Pro 5G is a strong contender. Its sleek design, stunning display, powerful performance, and excellent battery life make it a great value for money.
However, if you’re looking for more advanced AI features, other phones in this price range, such as the Nothing Phone 2a Plus, offer better options with features like ChatGPT integration.
In conclusion, while the Vivo T3 Pro 5G has some minor drawbacks like accidental touches on the curved display and bloatware that you need to uninstall, its pros far outweigh the cons. It’s a solid choice for anyone in the market for a premium-looking, high-performance phone at an affordable price.
